This page is not the nat-gas storage forecast. Two independent paper books share the same converter and fee gate but do not overlap: near is calendar D+1 HIGH/RAIN (volume ≥ 50); far is D+2–10 plus weekend rain and weekly heat (volume ≥ 10). Maps Weather API tops out at 240 hours, so the far book cannot see the full 15-day WeatherNext synoptic. Near D+1 fills stay on the live book overnight and settle at 4:00 AM Eastern the next morning (after local midnight in every CONUS timezone), then scored when Kalshi settles. Same-day opens are still excluded — the print already includes the realized window. Daily highs settle on the source in each market’s rules (currently The Weather Company at the named CLI station, LST day). Trace rain counts as 0. Paper fills are hypothetical — no live Kalshi orders.
